Harold Amos, 1919-2000, BA, 1941, Springfield College; MA, Harvard University; PhD, 1952, Harvard Medical School Division of Medical Sciences, was named Instructor in the Department of Bacteriology and Immunology at Harvard Medical School in 1954 and became Maude and Lillian Presley Professor of Microbiology and Molecular Genetics in 1975, and emeritus in 1988.
